For Science, Of Course

Filed under: Personal — by teofilo @ 6:51 pm

The comments to the previous post are making me wonder if I have any secret admirers here or at the other blogs I frequent.  If there are any (which I kind of doubt, actually), I’d appreciate it if they could e-mail me or comment on this post.

  1. I read this blog – probably not every single post, but I do read it.

  2. Glad to hear it, Chris. Since you were the only person to respond to this post in any format, it seems my doubts were accurate.

  3. You weren’t looking for responses from people who have openly admired you, right?

  4. Perhaps, but sill . . . lurkers are shy! You never know who is too shy to delurk, which is why the results of delurking experiments are mere pseudo-science.

  5. I might admire you more were I female.

  6. 3: No, I’m already aware of those.

4: True, but no one e-mailed me either.

  7. Teofilo, I’ve read your comments at Unfogged and followed over here to read your blog. You seem like a really nice guy. I’m sorry about your father. Good luck with the dating!

  8. Hi, Jennifer. Nice to meet you.

  9. I tend not to comment on people’s more private blogs, that seem like they’re more for their RL friends, even if I read them because I know the people from other places.

But I do like this, it’s very thoughtful and well written in a way that the other place doesn’t really encourage.

    I’ll relurk now

  11. Teo, I read you at Unfogged and sometimes here. I grew up in Albuquerque and my family is still there, so you remind me of home a little bit.
