Today is my twenty-third birthday. It’s not a very happy one, although I can take comfort in the fact that I know I’m exactly where I need to be right now.
I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who commented in the previous thread for their support and good wishes.
I won’t wish you a happy birthday, but I’ll wish you peace for the day.

Also, if you don’t mind my asking (feel free not to answer if you don’t feel like chatting in comments), but is your sister there, or has she been able to be at all in the last few weeks? Apologies if you already said so and I missed it.

She’s here, and has been for a while. She transfered to Santa Fe for this year, so she came back with me at the beginning of the summer and has been here ever since.
