Bummer

My dad didn’t get the job.  He made it to the final two, but the other candidate had a lot more experience so they offered it to her first and she accepted.  This isn’t actually that big a deal; he’s back to adjuncting, so at least he has something to keep him busy.  He’s only teaching one class, but that’s about all he has energy for right now–apparently this new chemo regimen is tiring him out more than the other one did.  I kind of wonder if the job would have been too much for him to handle.  It’s hard for me to judge, since I’m so far away and mostly get my information filtered through my mom.  They’re coming east for Thanksgiving, so I guess I’ll see how he’s doing then.
